We love Bees here at Small Green Pinky. Aside from plants, they dominate our photo libraries (we aren’t kidding about this, we have over 2000 photographs of Bees at the time of writing this.)

Here are our favourite Bee pictures, taken by us, in a variety of places which include;

The following organisations and people have made some of these photographs possible through a combination of giving us wonderful places for Bees to be found, running events, or just being awesome in the world of Bees (we love you all!)

Sorry if we have missed anyone out here but this page is as organic as we are, so we shall be adding pictures, information, and credits when and where we can. If we have forgotten you, send us a message and we shall fix this as quickly as humanly possible (we are a little slower than bees, sorry.)

Without this book the majority of our Bee identification would not be possible (and any we haven’t identified correctly are the either the result of not having enough detail in our photographs, or just us being new to bee identification)

We’ve had the pleasure of getting to know and talk with many experts in the bee (and entomology in general) conservation arena and I believe everyone we have talked with considers this the ‘Bee Bible’ – It’s not only complete (well, almost, I Steven recently mentioned at a Blooms for Bees event that four more bees have been found since publication) but beautiful to look at and highly informative.
